Drag Strip Riot

This is a Drag Race and Car Show October 28-29, 2022 at the Orland Speed World.

The Florida Dragstrip Riot is an annual gathering of vintage (pre-1979) hot rods, custom race cars, trucks, choppers, and show cars. It’s also a full day of drag racing, unique vendors, swap meets and memories galore. It all started when a couple of guys put a few bucks together seeking to recapture a simpler time when a best time slip, a kiss from the Flag Girl, and an afternoon with friends and competitors was enough. Not everyone went home with a trophy, but the legends and the memories live on. Driving into our 5th year, that purpose hasn’t changed. The Florida Dragstrip Riot is still Orlando’s own annual 1/4 mile heads up nostalgia drag race extravaganza! So dust off your old drag car and get ready to blow off some steam as we celebrate the Golden Age of Drag Racing and Hot Rodding.

All Spectators are $20.00
Kids 12 and under – FREE

Vintage Car Parking (CarShow): Pre 1979 Parking pit side is $25.00 includes drivers. (If you want to run your car, pay $10 more for a tech card. See Safety Rules

Racecar: $35.00 includes driver entrance. Secures entry into any payouts you may qualify for.

HANDICAP parking and HANDICAP seating will be provided by Orlando Speed World on the SPECTATOR SIDE of the track.

ONLY NOSTALGIA RACECARS AND VINTAGE CARSHOW WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARK IN THE RACECAR/VINTAGE CAR PARKING AREA.

NO NEW-STALGIA CARS! ANYTHING OUTSIDE OF PRE-1979 IS BY INVITE ONLY! We love Hell Cats, Fox Bodys and late model Corvettes- just NOT at this show. Someone knowledgeable about Vintage cars will be at the front entrance gate. If your car doesn’t meet the Nostalgic Flavor of the Event, you will be asked to park in the VIP area in the shutdown area. THIS EVENT IS NOT A STEAK AND SHAKE THURSDAY NITE CRUISE-IN.
