Texas hosts many cars shows annually in different places. Due to the current COVID 19 situation, some of the shows are subject to cancellation or postponement by the organizers and local officials. Corvette Invasion

The Corvette Invasion was introduced to Austin, Texas in 2013 with a few clubs and progressed to a bigger event accommodating more than 300 corvette owners. This event lasts for 3 days, and it has become one of the biggest car shows in Texas over the years. The event starts with a ‘meet and greet’ on the first day followed by the Corvette Car Show and awarding ceremony. On the third day, there are low-speed Parade laps where attendees to the show can follow the caravan while admiring the Bastrop skyline in Central Texas. At the car show, you are encouraged to shop, eat, and listen to local music as you wait for the third day when the caravans’ race track happens. The best and biggest Corvette Invasion car show was held in 2017 with an estimated attendance record of many Corvette owners worldwide.

McAllen International Carfest

This car show is a perfect family outdoor and outdoor with more than 300 classic cars on showcase. There are displays of classics and exotics, Hot rods and muscle cars, a swap meet, and live entertainment for attendees. The car show accommodates families with Kids Model Car Build-offs so everyone gets entertained.

Annual Open Car Show

The annual open car show starts on 20th March usually from 10 am to 4 pm without fail. The club with the most members participating in the show gets an award as well as the first 100 pre-registered candidates. In recent years, this lone day event has had more than 300 entries with participants and visitors from all over the world. There is free entry to the show as well as food, vendors, live music, and a silent auction where all proceeds go to benefit needy teens and children.

Yellow Rose Classic Car Show

Scheduled for 23rd to 25th July 2021, this annual event happens in North Texas. It allows automobile enthusiasts a quality indoor show for antique, collectible, and classic Ford trucks and cars. The event began in 1990, and with time the display space has exceeded from 50,000 square feet at Amon G. Carter, Jr. Exhibit hall to Arlington Convention Centre, a more central location. Among the participants in the show are national and locally recognized vendors, individuals, and Ford enthusiast car clubs.

If you are looking for a car show with a music fest, the Lonestar Round-Up is an event showcasing custom cars and hot rods from all over the country since 2002. The show started as a one-day event but has sprawled to a weekend long festival celebrating these cars, and the lovers of music and art. The show involves mostly customs and hot rods made before the 70s and with a big turnout every year. For entertaining live music, swap meet, open house parties, cruise nights, and car shows, the Travis County Expo hosts this event on Friday and Saturday to give you a lifetime experience.

The Cars and Coffee car show is a free, casual event held on every first Saturday of the month. While this isn’t a big car show, it’s the ideal place to see custom and exotic sports cars in Texas. The show is free, and many specialty car owners bring their cars to show off to the public. Such cars are Lotus, McLaren, Lamborghini, and Ferrari among others.   

East Texas Crisis Centre Auto & Cycle Show

Commencing on 5th to 7th July, this car show exhibits over 80 classic cars, motorcycles, and trucks. This event has been popular with automobile enthusiasts in East Texas for two decades. It is premiered with a fundraising fair for East Texas Crisis Centre at Harvey Convention Centre.

Here you’ll find a flea market with items like car parts and tools, accessories, souvenirs, and also concessions. Scheduled for 2rd to 25th July, this three-day car show will take place at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park and the entry is free. Rock Baby Rock It!

For fans of cars and rock music, this is the ideal car show event to attend in Houston, Texas. This rockability festival happens annually from 27th to 29th July weekend since 2000. During the car show, fans are entertained by bands playing country, contemporary, and legendary rock music live. If you are looking for an immersive automobile and rock music experience, this car show is most recommended. This car show is a 2-day event commencing with a cruise night with almost 200 low-riders.
